ManMade Group is a newly established mental health counseling group practice in beautiful Downtown Maryville.
We are dedicated to supporting the unique mental health needs of teen and adult men, helping them navigate the complexities of life with a focus on emotional well-being, personal growth, and family relationships. We believe that addressing men's mental health is crucial for building stronger communities.
We are hiring full-time mental health counselors to join our group practice in the fall of 2024. We are accepting applications from compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, or Marriage and Family Therapists, as well as Licensed Professional Counselor candidates. Position Summary:
Counselors will provide counseling to teens and men and their families seeking support for various mental health and life challenges. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform counseling services in person or via telehealth for individuals 13 years of age and older and meet the specific needs of each client
Minimum of 25 client contact hours per week
Complete timely notes and treatment plans
Set achievable goals with clients and monitor progress
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards
Honor the rules and regulations that govern the professional counseling and social work professions
Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities
Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in men's mental health
Be respectful of your co-workers in our shared office suite
Respond timely to all client inquiries and needs
As needed, work with other parties to coordinate care for your clients
Contribute to our website and/or social media accounts via blogging, account takeover, etc.
If requested, represent ManMade Group in the community at trainings, conferences, or networking events
Qualifications:
Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or current and valid licensure candidacy for Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services, preferably with a focus on men's mental health
Strong understanding of issues affecting men, including but not limited to masculinity, identity, relationships, and emotional expression
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and group facilitation skills
Ability to create a safe and inclusive environment for clients from diverse backgrounds
Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice
Ability and interest in engaging in experiential activities with adolescent clients

Competitive Compensation Plan: You will receive a generous percentage of every appointment completed. There is also a quarterly bonus structure.

Flexibility: This is not a Monday through Friday, 9 to 5 job. We encourage our team to set their own hours as they work their way up to a caseload of 25 clients per week on average.
Office Space in a Great Location: With your own fully furnished office, you can create a space where you and your clients feel safe and comfortable. Located in Downtown Maryville, we are close to the Maryville Greenway which is beneficial for walk-and-talks and more dynamic therapy approaches.

Individual Development and Unlimited Support: You always have access to Clinical Director, Shawn Helvey, to offer meaningful feedback based on your experiences and challenges. Office manager handles all billing, claims, scheduling, and marketing.
